Auto Bet System X Review - A Service For Those Who Love Horse Racing

We shall be starting a review of Auto Bet System X.

This horse betting system is not a straightforward tipping service. It is more of a teaching method or betting strategy.

The Auto Bet System X betting strategy teaches you how to identify potential race winners and putting the percentages in your favor increasing your chances of winning.

The theory and methodology behind the service run by Mr Grey Samuels looks at betting as a business or investment, the idea is to try and detach yourself from the emotions of winning or losing so that win or lose you can keep a clear head.

The basics of the service are to help you develop your own betting style using the betting strategies that are set our by Grey.

The aim is to grow your starting bank by 5-10% everyday, as Grey points out some days it will be more and some days it will be less.

The betting strategies include simple staking methods to back horses to win or place, Dutching methods, Multiples, Accumulators and more. With Video Tutorials, PDFs and walkthroughs this is a very well put together package.

I should mention that there are two subscriptions available:

The first is The full Auto Bet System X Report For £37

The Next Subscription,

The Full Auto Bet System X Report + Unlimited access to the Machine For £67.

The benefit of the second subscription is that the “Machine” or the Auto Bet System X software will do all the race card analysis for you, literally saving you hours of research.

So all you have to do is decide what type of bets you are going to place for the day.

We must also add that no two sets of results will be the same as results will be dictated by the punters betting style and technique, some will make more profit than others.

We shall be posting up our own results and testing out the betting strategies set out by Auto Bet System X to See how good the methods are over 100 days and see how much profit we can make.

Horse Racing Tips - The Flat Season Begins

Timeform's Jamie Lynch tries to locate the value for the first big handicap of the Flat season...

This little article was going to begin with an all-out attack on the Racing For Change mob and their preoccupation with needlessly restructuring the end of the Flat season, when the start of it still limps in so pathetically - it would be difficult enough for Doncaster's voice to be heard above Cheltenham and Aintree, so what chance has Catterick got; but then I realised that, at the same time I was formulating this high-and-mighty, paper-thin rant, I was trying to get a bet matched on the seller at Wolverhampton.

The truth is that for me and the vast majority of people who use and peruse Betfair, as well as most who enjoy the sport, there's not much wrong with racing as things are. Opportunities are easily lost while focusing on the negatives. Racing isn't in crisis. Japan and Libya are in crisis. Yes, racing has its problems and issues, but no more so than any and every other industry in the current climate. Like all sports, racing has quietly changed over the decades and will continue to do so in order to adapt to whatever circumstances and difficulties present themselves at any given time, but if an official body - like we now have - is to lead the way then surely it needs to start at the bottom rather than the top as has happened so far with the British Champions' Day palaver.

Anyway, the point of this piece isn't so I could vent this teeny-weeny spleen, but to seize one of the bigger and better opportunities that Flat racing has to offer, namely the Lincoln Handicap. Thinking about it, we actually don't need a fanfare, fireworks and Fake That live in concert for a grand opening of the Flat season do we? The Lincoln itself is enough of an announcement, as it has always been, and there's nothing like a big-race bet to get the adrenaline pumping, so let's find one...or two.

Here's some valuable information, completely free and gratis: Taqleed is one of our Horses To Follow (if you haven't already, get your copy now - all 136 pages of it - at www.timeform.com). We have to be honest and say he wasn't really included with the Lincoln in mind, as we thought he had bigger fish to fry, and that will hopefully still be the case, but John Gosden never passes up an opportunity to bag a valuable handicap and here is Taqleed, high on positives but low on value now, the price gone.

You'd need a second and third and fourth opinion before trusting this particular Doc, but Docofthebay has a much better form chance than his odds suggest, even factoring in his foibles. In fairness, Docofthebay has turned the new leaf at least three-quarters of the way over in the few months he's been with Dandy Nicholls, and his latest second in a Wolverhampton listed race puts him ahead of the game, 6 lb 'well in' officially. The reason Docofthebay is trading at 27.0 is because of the Docofthebay of old, but at those odds it's worth a punt that we're dealing with a new and improved Docofthebay, and don't forget that he was once runner-up in a Hunt Cup, likewise a straight mile.

At this stage, it's touch and go whether Gunner Lindley and Eton Forever, who both have plenty going for them, will make the cut. In fact it looks as if, bar Taqleed, there will be hardly any up-and-comers in the final twenty-two, and therefore a solid profile with a 'been there and done that' badge is more attractive than might ordinarily be the case in a big handicap. Step forward Prime Exhibit. Runner up in the Lincoln twelve months ago, Prime Exhibit looks better still coming into the race this time around judged on his reappearance third - just behind Lowther and Tartan Gigha - in the trial at Wolverhampton, when unlucky not to win. Paul Hanagan is set to ride Irish Heartbeat, who could be more a sprinter than a miler these days, but the bonus for Prime Exhibit is that Lee Topliss takes 5 lb off, and he's excellent value for it.

Apologies for hijacking what was supposed to be a simple tipping article to get on my high horse, and it's not very high before vertigo kicks in where my appreciation of racing politics is concerned, but it does matter to me (and to all of us) what's happening and, moreover, what will happen. It's not a case of 'if it's not broke then don't fix it,' because there are areas in which racing is broke - literally and metaphorically - and does need fixing, but, honourable though the Racing For Change ideology is, the worry is that they are going about things the wrong way by revamping Premier League races which frankly didn't need revamping. The programme book is okay as it was, as we'll discover this untouched weekend, and, in the wider scheme, it's insignificant if a few would-be snobs like me think that, to kick off the Flat season, it would be better if Catterick, Leicester and Musselburgh came after Doncaster and not before. The point to celebrate is that we have a Catterick, Leicester, Musselburgh and Doncaster and we have a race rich in heritage like the Lincoln, and therein lies the true beauty of British racing: its depth and variation, and the vast opportunities provided. Whether or not Docofthebay or Prime Exhibit do the business on Saturday, they'll have plenty more opportunities through the season, and so will you.

Recommendations

Back Docofthebay @ 27.0
Back Prime Exhibit @ 12.0

England 1 - 1 Ghana (Gyan Denies Three Lions Victory)

Posted by Gambling Systems Reviews

Andy Carroll scored his first goal for England, but Asamoah Gyan snatched a late leveller for Ghana in a 1-1 draw at Wembley.

With over 21,000 Ghanaians helping to generate a carnival atmosphere, a lively friendly encounter looked to have been settled two minutes before the interval when Liverpool's £35million frontman opened his international account.

Gyan, though, was to have the last word as he skipped between a stationary Three Lions back four in stoppage-time to ensure that the visitors left with something to show for their efforts.

Both sides wasted golden opportunities to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes, with Dominic Adiyah denied on two occasions by smart stops from Joe Hart and Ashley Young somehow turning the ball onto the crossbar from three yards out.

Carroll made no mistake, though, on 43 minutes as he drilled low into the bottom corner following clever combination play between Young and Aston Villa team-mate Stewart Downing.

Chances continued to come and go at both ends after the interval, with Young seeing a curling effort tipped behind by Richard Kingson and Gyan firing into the side-netting after beating the off-side trap.

Matt Jarvis was then given his big moment, with the winger becoming the first Wolves player to represent England since Steve Bull as he came on for the last 20 minutes.

Danny Welbeck became the second England debutant of the night on 81 minutes, ending any hope Ghana had of luring the promising frontman away from the Three Lions.

He would have been confident of ending the game on the winning side as time ticked down, but a moment of individual brilliance from Sunderland striker Gyan in the dying seconds helped the Black Stars to claim a deserved draw.

Jubilation

The friendly no-one wanted turned into the best of its kind since the new Wembley was opened in 2007 - and ended with gleeful Ghana racing to their fans in jubilation following a last-minute leveller.

It was a goal the visitors deserved for their attacking approach and their willingness to play properly, rather than stroke the ball around in half-hearted manner as so often typifies these games.

Their supporters deserved it too. Twenty-one thousand strong and making enough noise to match, even marking Welbeck's England debut with deafening boos given he has rejected the chance to play for them.

But it spoiled Carroll's night.

Twenty-four hours after being told to curb his drinking by Fabio Capello, Carroll should have been toasting his first England goal.

A Geordie who plays for Liverpool and wears the England number nine shirt has a pretty formidable legacy to live up to.

And what a start he has made thanks to a pinpoint first-time finish to a well crafted move.

But Ghana were not to be denied, which just made the accepted truth that has grown around England's World Cup campaign even more of a myth.

Aside from the goal that never was in that fateful last-16 tie with Germany, the moment that shaped the Three Lions' time in South Africa actually occurred in a game they did not feature in.

Up until Landon Donovan's stoppage-time strike for the United States against Algeria, England were set for a meeting with Ghana and a direct route through to the semi-finals such was the perceived ease of the draw.

Underestimated

That view underestimated Ghana's abilities somewhat, as they eventually proved.

Despite keeping the same formation that served him so well against Wales, Capello discovered stand-in skipper Gareth Barry did not have as much success in keeping Ghana at arm's length as Scott Parker had done at the Millennium Stadium.

Gyan tested Hart with a thunderous 40-yard drive, then got behind Phil Jagielka but failed to beat the England keeper from rather closer.

Hart nearly gifted the visitors a goal when he presented the ball to Gyan on the edge of the area with a misdirected clearance, only to save himself embarrassment by barring the Sunderland striker's route to goal until reinforcements arrived.

He deserved that bit of fortune, though, having already turned away Adiyiah's goal-bound header with a splendid one-handed reaction save that required agility as well as skill on the basis Hart had been moving in the wrong direction as Sulley Muntari's far-post free-kick arrived.

Yet England were far from outplayed.

Despite the pre-match moans about players not here, those who were largely excelled.

Young in particular has enjoyed an excellent year as an England player, even if he will not want to watch any replays of the moment he slid forward to reach James Milner's low cross but turned it onto the bar even though the goal was gaping.

Downing started that move, part of a man-of-the-match display, and the Aston Villa man should have scored himself in the opening minutes when he raced onto Milner's through ball, only to screw his shot badly wide.

Young's fiercely struck effort fizzed over the bar too in those breathless opening stages.

Expectation

Indeed, as the first half drew to its conclusion, the only English offensive player who had not impressed was Carroll.

Much is expected of the young man with the £35million price tag even though it was only his second international appearance.

But he struggled to get himself in the right place at the right time, moving towards the far post when he should have been at the near and dropping back for a pass when the requirement was to go forward.

As it has always been with strikers, though, the currency by which they are judged is the number of times they find the net.

So, when Young clipped an excellent pass to the edge of the area and Downing prodded the ball straight into his path, Carroll seized on the opening and found the bottom corner with deadly accuracy.

And, as Carroll did little after the break of note until he was replaced by Jermain Defoe just before the hour, that was it.

He left the field to a standing ovation, though - his job done, the aura around him beginning to grow.

The entertainment continued - Young's curling shot just wide at one end, Barry's brave block to a John Pantsil effort at the other, Jonathan Mensah sending a free header from the corner disappointingly wide, a fingertip save from Richard Kingson to deny James Milner, Gyan thrashing a shot into the side-netting.

England were within touching distance of victory when Gyan slalomed through their defence and equalised.

After missing the penalty that would have given Africa its first World Cup semi-finalists nine months ago, no-one can begrudge him that.

29th March 2011

GAMBLING SYSTEMS REVIEWS

Weekly Summary- 21st to 28th March

Hi Guys

I hope everyone had a good Cheltenham, it was another great Festival and wasn't it nice to see the two golden oldies fighting it out in the Gold Cup.  I think the Bookmakers had a great week, we didn't have too many winners, we had a couple of losing lays though! How hard can it be to pick a loser when you have a cavalry running?  We hope you like the new site, if you haven't seen it yet please have a look www.gamblingsystemsreviews.com let us know what you think.....

I will start the weeks summary by congratulating Dave Bicknell from PRO-GOLF SELECTIONS who gave us Martin Laird at 40/1 to win the BAY HILL INVITATIONAL on the PGA Tour, a nice start for his trial.  Although it did look like an unlikely win for the talented Scot as he feel 3 shots behind on the back 9 but with a few birdies, and a great up and down at 17, he calmly 2 putted the last from 90 feet which saw Laird win by a single shot from Steve Marino who is still looking for his 1st win on Tour.  *Note to myself- I must get one of them belly putters after watching Laird putt!

PRO-GOLF SELECTIONS profits on Week 1 = £733

THE MASTERS starts on the 7th April and at last all 4 days coverage will be live on SKYSPORTS.  For anyone who is interested in my tip for the tournament- NICK WATNEY - After Masters finishes of 11th (2008), 19th (2009) and 7th (2010), Nick Watney was already on many shortlists as a possible winner of this year's Green Jacket.  But his sensational start to the season means he's now one of the genuine favourites.

LAY BETTOR has had a good week this week, last Monday night we was at -£1298, this Monday night we stand at -£754, a nice profit on the week of +£544, heading in the right direction, unlike IT’S-LAY-TIME, my god what a week to forget for this laying service, last Monday night we stood at -£1223, this Monday night we are now a staggering -£3110, a loss on the week of -£1887....SAFE LAY BETS  has had a good week also, so it should as it's selections virtually match those of Lay Bettor, only a few differences and of course a different betting criteria.  Last Monday night this service was -£1586, this Monday night we are now only -£586 behind our starting bank roll, a great profit on the week of £1000.  MARTINS BETTER BETTING has had a promising start to their trial with a profit of £460 in the first 5 days.

SPORTS BETTING PROFESSOR NBA has had a funny few few weeks, one minute your flying then the next you hit a brick wall.  On the 19th March we had a profit of +£1095, then we had 4 straight losses.  This Tuesday morning we stand at +£531, winning our last 4 system bets.

Final Review Of The Horse Betting System - All Weather Pro

Hi guys, well another 100 day trial complete and here is our final verdict on All Weather Pro

Having completed an extensive trial from 14th December – 19th March 2011  our review is as follows:-

The Selections and How it Works

All Weather Pro

A very straight forward horse betting system with selections emailed out every morning. Selections can range from 1 to 10 bets per day, but ten is rare it is usually 1 or 2 selections. All advised bets a to 1 point.

Results

Total Selections….140

Winning Bets….16

Losing Bets…119

Non Runners....5

Strike Rate….12%

Profit…..-£782

The Strike rate says it all just 12% winning bets. We were promised big priced winners and big profits but sadly they did not appear.

The trial started well with All Weather Pro getting their biggest win of the trial on the 15th December with a huge 25 points profit. But it was all down hill from there as the profits slowly shrank until they were all gone. More wins is whats need for this service to be a success.

Poker Chip Thief Gets 2 Years

Posted by GAMBLING SYSTEMS REVIEWS

Ashley Mitchell, an experienced computer hacker and Facebook poker fan, was sentenced recently to 2 years in prison for stealing billions of virtual Facebook chips. The 29 year old admitted to hacking in the Zynga Poker site and unlawfully taking $12 million worth of gambling chips. While the chips have no actual value of their own, players at Zynga poker are able to buy bundles of chips for a set amount of money.

During the trial Exeter Crown Court’s judge, Philip Wassall, noted how Mitchell knowingly “exploited” a security flaw in the site’s servers and added: “People rely on computer systems. Anyone who has managed to get into these systems for their own ends should expect a stiff sentence.”

Mitchell will spend an extra 30 weeks in prison for breaching an earlier suspended sentence which was incurred when he was caught hacking into the computer system of his previous employers Torbay Council.

Mitchell has admitted to harbouring a gambling addiction and said the money raised from selling the poker chips was being used to fund his £1000 a day online casino habit.

Capello Reinstates Terry As England Captain!!!

Posted By GAMBLING SYSTEMS REVIEWS

John Terry has been installed as England's permanent captain for a third time after being forgiven by head coach Fabio Capello for his off-the-field behaviour.

- 0

Capello revealed at a Wembley media briefing that the Chelsea skipper will replace Rio Ferdinand as skipper - starting with next Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier with Wales in Cardiff.

But he has been unable to communicate the news personally to Ferdinand with Capello claiming the Manchester United defender "preferred not to meet me" at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Terry was initially appointed England skipper by Steve McClaren in August 2006 and then Capello reinstated him in August 2008 after initially experimenting with different players in the role.

He stripped Terry of the honour 13 months ago after an alleged affair with a former girlfriend of England team-mate Wayne Bridge. But Capello has decided Terry has served a sufficient punishment after describing him as the "biggest personality" in the England dressing room and a "leader".

The way the armband was passed around from player to player after Frank Lampard, captain for last month's friendly in Denmark, was substituted was also a factor for Capello.

He said: "I decided John Terry would be the captain for this game (against Wales) because, after the game in Copenhagen, the way the armband was moved around was upsetting for him.

"Also, I said my decision would be the day before the (Wales) game because I wanted to speak with the players, I wanted to speak with John Terry.

"I also knew the England doctors spoke with the doctors of Manchester United and Liverpool and I knew that Rio and Steven Gerrard were injured.

"But I have decided that John Terry, after one year of punishment, will again be the permanent captain. I think one year's punishment is enough. He was my first choice when I (initially) decided on the permanent captain."

PA Sport

What do you guys think should Terry captain England again? Does that send the wrong message? Or is Capello going back on this morals?

British clubs’ participation in the Europa League ended last night as Manchester City, Liverpool and Rangers were all knocked out of the competition.

City recorded a 1-0 win at home thanks to Aleksandar Kolarov’s 39th-minute strike, but that was not enough to cancel out Dynamo Kiev’s 2-0 first-leg advantage.

Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw with Braga at Anfield which saw the Portuguese side advance 1-0 on aggregate, while Rangers were beaten 1-0 by PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox and lost the tie by that margin. Totesport had offered 7-2 about a British wipeout.

Porto, 7-2 for the Europa League before the round of 16, are now 9-4 favourites with Hills.

Cheltenham Festival Day 2 - Big Zeb The Big Winner

Posted By GAMBLING SYSTEMS REVIEWS

After a day that belonged to the bookies on day 1 of the 2010 Cheltenham Festival punters arrived on day 2 hoping to win their money back, but it was not to be once again as they were some big upsets on the card. The big race of the day was of course the Queen Mother Champion Chase where Master Minded was going for his third straight win in the race and set off as a big odds-on favourite. It was not to be though as the favourite never travelled leaving the impressive Big Zeb to claim a storming victory with Barry Geraghty on board.

Big Zeb is a horse that has promised much in recent runs and he has finally realised that potnetial with this victory at 10/1 to leave the bookmakers laughing once again. The only horse that got near Big Zeb in the feature was the game Forpadydeplasterer who stayed on well up the hill as he did last year in the Arkle to claim a good 2nd place. In the other big race of the day the RSA Chase there was yet another upset, the 10/1 shot Weapons Amnesty got up in impressive fashion to put himself in line for a big future over the fences. All the money before the race was on Punchestowns and Long Run but a duel between the two failed to materialize as expected. Punchestowns was never in the frame despite going off as favourite while Long Run looked in good shape for a while before failing to get the trip as they jumped the last. He still looks to have a good future but there is no doubting that Weapons Amnesty was a worthy winner at the Festival for the second season in-a-row having won the Albert Bartlett last year.

The first race of the card on Day 2 was the marathon four mile National Hunt Chase that was picked up by Poker De Sivola with Katie Walsh bagging her first Festival winner in the process. It was yet another exciting race which once again saw the favourite beaten with the winner coming home as a 14/1 shot as the punters lost out. The Neptune was perhaps one of the highlights of the day from a spectators point of view as we saw Peddlers Cross get up and he certainly looks to be destined for bigger things on the back o this victory.

Perhaps the most impressive winner of the day though came in the last when Cue Card ran away with the Champion Bumper at yet another long price of 40/1. He simply blew the field away in a similar style to Dunguib last season and looks set to be one to watch next season when he reappears. There was only one favourite win once again today as on day 1 and it was Ruby Walsh who rode Sanctuaire to a good win in the Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle. The win saw Ruby Walsh become the most successful ever jockey at the Cheltenham Festival with his 26th victory at Prestbury Park to overtake Pat Taafe. That win though was the only bright spot for the punters on Day 2of the Cheltenham Festival as Big Zeb took the headlines to dethrone the great Master Minded.

Chelsea Make The Champions League Quarter Finals

Posted By GAMBLING SYSTEMS REVIEWS

Chelsea sealed their safe passage through to the Champions League quarter-finals with a goalless draw at home to Copenhagen.

The Premier League champions took a 2-0 lead from the first leg in Denmark to Stamford Bridge knowing a draw would be more than enough against their underdog opponents.

Although the Blues' march forward in this season’s competition was not put under serious threat at any point, the Danish champions put in a solid performance to earn a draw and a clean sheet.

Yuri Zhirkov, Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba could all have easily put Chelsea in front, but Dame N’Doye threatened to make it an uncomfortable night with a woodwork-rattling free-kick in the first half.

John Obi Mikel headed onto the crossbar early in the second half and substitute Fernando Torres came close on a couple of occasions to grabbing his first goal for his new club, but Stale Solbakken’s men were good value for the 0-0 result as they exited the tournament.

Despite not needing to score on the night to advance, Carlo Ancelotti’s side clearly aimed to send their supporters home happy and marked their intent to build on their 2-0 advantage as early as the 10th minute.

Drogba showed some good skills to find space for a shot, but from a fair distance he failed to trouble Johan Wiland in the Copenhagen goal.

Drogba was involved again on 18 minutes as the hosts turned on the style. After being fed by Zhirkov, the Ivorian backheeled Ashley Cole though and though Cole could not get a shot off himself, he returned possession to Zhirkov to shoot off target.

Zhirkov continued to torment the away side and minutes later the Russian cut the defence wide open with a pass through to Anelka, whose shot was weak and parried by Wiland.

Just as it looked like a matter of time before Chelsea extended their lead over the two legs, John Terry fouled N’Doye just outside the Blues’ penalty area and the forward spectacularly curled the resulting free-kick against the upright with Petr Cech stranded.

It served as a warning to the English side that they were not necessarily home and dry yet, though Zhrikov had another good chance thanks to a lovely ball from Drogba on 33 minutes.

Drogba should have put the tie out of Copenhagen’s reach within minutes of the restart when he tamely connected with a low volley from Jose Bosingwa’s cross.

And with 51 played, a Chelsea corner sparked a game of head tennis amidst the blue shirts packing the box, finishing with Mikel’s close range nodded effort against the bar.

Fifty million pound man Torres replaced Anelka halfway through the second period, and although he almost provoked an own goal with a speculative shot deflected wide of Wiland’s post, it was not the night for his eagerly-anticipated first goal in a blue shirt.

And although Chelsea saw out the remainder of the game to ensure their participation in the last eight of this year’s tournament, Copenhagen more than deserved their clean sheet.

And as the first Danish side to make the knockout stages of the Champions League, FC Copenhagen exit Europe with their heads held high.

Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Hello everyone, a quick round up of what happened this weekend, the winners and losers of all our current gambling systems.

I am afraid I am struggling to find positives as most of our systems made losses

The much hyped sports betting dynamics is currently -£3305 after 6 days of our live trial.

Our new Laying System "Its Lay Time" took a big hit and has dropped from £300 in profit to -£2063. I had a feeling the big priced horses would cost them and it has done just that. (Day 5)

Champion lays continues on the slide after a brief recovery with a small loss of £65.

All Weather Pro did manage to land a winner making a profit of £800 but is still down by about £1000. (Day 95)

But on a brighter note our brand new site is due for completion on Wednesday which will see the launch of some great new products and reviews like the much talked about BetBot Pro and the new football tipping service Best Football Betting.

Good Luck for the festival guys and stay tuned for more updates.

With the 4 Semi Finalist now decided Who would you put your money on?

After Man United put the sword to Arsenal, winning 2-0 they are of course favourites at 2.2 Betfair. Setting up a mouth watering game against Man City

It was not one of the new multi-million pound men that saw off reading it was Man City "Old Boy" Micah Richards in true cup style. Ensuring the big city rivals fight it out for a place in the final.

The other Semi will be contested by Stoke and Bolton.

Stoke reach the last 4 for the first time in 39 years after beating West Ham 2-1, While Bolton managed a thrilling victory over the new carling cup holders Birmingham. Bolton twice surrendered the advantage before Lee Chung-Yong settled the contest once and for all late on.

Man City are priced at 3.4 behind United with Bolton at 6.8 and Stoke priced at 8.6.

United are also still on course to repeat the treble succes of 99.

What Do You Guys Think?

New Cheltenham Favourite - Champion Hurdle

posted by GAMBLING SYSTEMS REVIEWS.COM

Sky Bet make Menorah an 11/4 favourite for the Champion Hurdle following news that Binocular will miss the race.

The defending Champion, a 3/1 chance at the time of withdrawal, did not feature among the 11 final declarations made on Sunday after being treated for an allergy two weeks ago.

Matt Doyle of Sky Bet said: 'The loss of the favourite from the Champion Hurdle field is a massive blow for punters and we have taken the decision to refund all win and each-way singles bets on Binocular.'

Nicky Henderson will now rely solely on Welsh Champion Hurdle winner Oscar Whisky, who is 7/1 with Sky Bet to bring the hurdling Blue Riband back to his Seven Barrows yard.

Hurricane Fly is next best in Sky Bet's market at 7/2 and it has also been confirmed Willie Mullins' charge will have the services of Ruby Walsh instead of Paul Towend at the Festival.

Champion Hurdle: (Sky Bet odds)

11/4 Menorah, 7/2 Hurricane Fly, 4/1 Peddlers Cross, 7/1 Oscar Whisky, 9/1 Dunguib, 11/1Khyber Kim, 12/1 Mille Chief, 20/1 Thousand Stars, 40/1 Overturn, 50/1 Clerks Choice, 150/1 Bygones of Brid

Read The Insight Of All The Trainers As They Prepare For The Cheltenham Festival 2011

I found this article a great read so thought i would share it with you all.

Larry at Gambling systems reviews

The trainers give their predictions and way up thier chances for this years Cheltenham Festival

ALAN KING

Nothing is ever normal when you get the chance to visit leading trainer Alan King at his frankly stunning stables, be that the heavy snow we suffered last year, or the pea soup fog we encountered this year, leaving half the journalists driving around in circles looking for the yard.

Still, turn up we did, and after a cup of coffee and a Danish pastry (even us scribes have to eat now and again), we were wheeled outside to go through the stable’s Cheltenham hopefuls who were paraded before us in the faux pre-parade ring (no stone left unturned here, I assure you).

First things first, and I have to admit I felt a little less enthusiasm from both connections and the media throng regarding this year’s contenders compared to last year, but then hopes were unrealistically high in 2010 and the top class novices have it all to do if they are to raise their game to the Championship events. Anyway, my opinions are not what this is all about, so on to the horses themselves and an assessment of their chances…….though I have cherry picked those the trainer seemed most enthusiastic about!

RAVETHEBRAVE

A 20/1 shot for the Centenary Novices Handicap Chase he could be a bit of a dark horse if he gets into the race.  His trainer described him as a very nice horse but with a wry smile on his face suggesting we may not have seen the best of this seven year old who was last seen when runner up to Carrickmines at Kempton.

The general consensus was that he could be reasonably handicapped and if everything goes his way he has chances of making the frame.

MEDERMIT

Although I normally like to look for the darker horses, where the handler’s body language betrays his real thoughts, in the case of this novice chaser Alan King made it pretty clear he felt this one was his best chance of Festival success.

Due to run in the Arkle Chase on Tuesday, and a very good hurdler rated as highly as 164 over the smaller obstacles, he won his first chase at Aintree by a distance, before blotting his copybook when refusing at Huntingdon.

A win at Plumpton was followed by second place over too far at Cheltenham and a “hanging on” victory over the same two miles five furlongs at Sandown.

Dropping back to two miles in a fast run race for the Arkle is seen as ideal and although 9/2 is not great value in my book, his trainer seemed pretty bullish, so what do I know?

JETNOVA

A six year old son of Luso, he is doubly declared for both the Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle and the Martin Pipe Conditions Jockeys Handicap hurdle on the Friday with preference for the first named for which he is priced at 50/1!

After three victories, two at Plumpton and when last seen at Warwick, he will need to improve considerably to get in the shake up, but his trainer warned us all not to underestimate him, and given good ground he could run a lot better than his current price suggests.

OH CRICK

Only entered in the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase (the last race on Friday), this eight year old may have a better chance than his 14/1 price implies.

He was last seen when third behind both Cornas and Tchico Polos at Sandown in early January and has been deliberately kept off the track to avoid a rise in his handicap mark.

I have to say that body language suggested he may be a bit better than that and he is now considered back to his very best, and given decent ground at the Festival he goes there with every chance. He is a former Festival winner.

HABBIE SIMPSON

The general consensus was that this six year old will have it all to do if Bobs Worth turns up for the Neptune Investment Novice Hurdle but that is still his likely target and he could make it in to the frame.

40/1 is a big price for a horse with room for a lot more improvement, and there will be a few worse each way bets in the race at that sort of price according to the glint in his trainer’s eye!

SMAD PLACE

Considering his form was pretty lacklustre in his native France, King has done a decent job getting him in to a position to even run in the Triumph Hurdle on the Friday where I got the feeling he is seen as the stable number one of three entries.

Fast ground would be seen as a problem, but if the ground is good or softer he is not without chances. His run when third at Chepstow needs to be ignored as he needed it, but he put the record straight last time out at Wincanton with a cheeky victory and has improved again in his work at home since.

12/1 is his current price for Cheltenham which is not exactly generous on what he has achieved so far, but he is thought capable of getting in the firing line for one of the toughest races to call of the entire week of Cheltenham.

Conclusions:

Overall, I just got the feeling that Alan King was nowhere near as confident this year as he was last about his Cheltenham chances and will be happy to come away with a couple of winners (as will I lol).  However, they are much better priced overall and anyone thinking about a few each way bets could do a lot worse than consider some of the horses mentioned in their multiple bets.

Paul Nicholls at his Ditcheat stables

Paul Nicholls at his Ditcheat stables

PAUL NICHOLLS

As Cheltenham approaches us lucky hacks get reminded just how close the greatest racing of the year actually is, with an invite to the more powerful yards to discuss their chances, and on Monday I drove all the way to deepest darkest Somerset for a chat with Champion trainer, Paul Nicholls.

Paul is a master of his trade who retired from the saddle after riding 1230 winners and quickly made his mark at the training game.  He now has over 140 horses in training and sits in fifth place on the all time list for the most winners at the Cheltenham Festival, with only Nicky Henderson ahead of him of those still plying their trade.  His ability to target the right horses at the right races and to have them at their peak for March has seen him snaffle the leading trainer award at the Festival in 1999, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009, before losing his title to (you guessed it) Nicky Henderson last year, but that will only make him all the more determined to win it back in 2011.

First things first, and I could just cut and paste the other articles already written by other journalists who went on the visit, but then again they seem to listen but don’t seem to hear, and I assure you my article is based on reading between the lines added to a touch of body language as well as the bare facts as stated, so if you want to make this Cheltenham a profitable one (never an easy task), then I suggest you keep on the right side of the following horses:

BRAMPOUR

There are certainly worse 16/1 shots for the Triumph Hurdle and his trainer seemed pretty sweet on his chances despite his tempting price. Handled by Jean-Claude Rouget on the flat in France, he was placed in a Listed race at Deauville which is decent form, and given good jumping ground at Cheltenham he would go there with every chance.

His last run saw him win readily enough at Taunton and with Paul Nicholls admitting he had left plenty to work on that day, we should not take the form too literally as he is no doubt considerably better than we have seen on the track so far.

AITEEN THIRTYTHREE

If one horse stood out as the strongest fancy of the week then this novice chaser was clearly the one. He has won both his races over fences by no less than seventeen lengths and FIFTY lengths so clearly has an engine, and there was no disguising the enthusiasm of his trainer over his chances in the RSA Chase over three miles.

Jockey Noel Fehily apparently described him as one of the nicest horses he has ever sat on and barring an accident, he ought to be there or thereabouts on the day, making the 10/1 look excellent each way value.

GHIZAO

The Arkle chase is never an easy race to win but I have to tell you that this seven year old has an “outstanding chance”, and with those words coming from the Champion trainer, you have to sit up and take notice.

In what looks likely to be a cracking renewal as always, this son of Tiger Hill who is flat-bred and thus retains plenty of speed also jumps like a stag, as witnessed by bloodless victories at Cheltenham and Chepstow. He does seem to have that enviable combination of speed and stamina which will serve him well and at 9/2 the choice is yours.

MASTER MINDED

A bit more on the obvious side with this eight year old who seems to have been around forever and has already won twenty-three races and over a million pounds in prize money.

He has already won the Queen Mother Champion Chase not once but twice, in 2008 and 2009 but ran below par last year when “only” fourth to Big Zeb.

BUT… he has had a breathing operation and is now looking an absolute picture and ready to try to reclaim his crown.  Provided he can be kept back for one winning run, he goes to Prestbury Park with an outstanding chance and I could not fail to see the sparkle in his trainer’s eye when talking about his chances.

BIG BUCKS

Officially rated the best horse in training, he just goes from strength to strength and looks to me to be the banker of the entire meeting even at the current price of 11/10.

Although the racing press, ably assisted by the bookmakers try hard to talk up the chances of the fast improving David Pipe-trained Grands Crus, beauty is as beauty does and ten consecutive victories including the World Hurdle in both 2009 and 2010 tells its own story, and as he is yet to be off the bridle in all those races a good fight may be just what he needs to bring out the best in him and show us just how good he really is.

AL FEROF

I admit it, I “ummed and aahed” about whether to include this six year old who ran a blinder when runner up to Cue Card in last year’s bumper but has failed to impress me over hurdles.

He has won his last two races by wide margins and his trainer insists a fast run two miles in the Supreme Novices will bring out the best in him and as he travels well tactics will not be a problem, and if Mr Nicholls thinks he is good enough to go close, who am I to argue?

At 16/1 he is certainly an each way price as I write, and being a striking grey he will be easy to spot during the race, while the expected good ground will also apparently play to his strengths and he has to be considered.

CHELTENHAM GOLD CUP

What is there to say? Paul Nicholls is lucky enough to have both DENMAN and KAUTO STAR in his yard, as well as NEPTUNE COLLONGES, who is a lively outsider for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the biggest race of the jumping year.

Both the first two have won the race before (twice in the case of Kauto Star) and both go back with chances despite their advancing years,  but even their trainer struggled to choose between them.

If pressed, I felt he might have leant fractionally toward  KAUTO STAR, though not with any real conviction.

Conclusions:

One thing I have learnt is to never write off Paul Nicholls and his horses and although I have felt all season his horses have not been quite 100%, if anyone can get them to the Festival at their peak the Champion trainer can.

He has riches in abundance as you have already read and will undoubtedly win races during the week while all eyes will be waiting to see if there is one more Gold Cup in either Kauto Star or Denman. Once again, I will sit on the fence and leave you to make your own decisions betting wise, but there are plenty of hints above and some decent prices to boot.

Nicky Henderson looks relaxed with his Cheltenham prospects

Nicky Henderson looks relaxed with his Cheltenham prospects

NICKY HENDERSON

Having been lucky enough to visit three of the most respected trainers in the world of National Hunt racing in the past seven days, it is hard to favour one over the other, though it is glaringly obvious that they all have different attributes and styles, be that with the horses or with the media that frankly they seem forced to deal with.

As a genuine horse racing anorak of many years, I feel privileged to meet both the handlers and the horses who have such an influence on my life, but Nicky must be the most laid back, polite and self assured of them all, but then maybe that is because he has been there, done that and got the T-shirt, and knows full well he has nothing left to prove to himself or anyone else.

I am convinced that his relaxed manner passes on to the horses and you should see how at ease he is with them at all times – truly a master horseman, but which horses does he think have the best chances at this year’s Cheltenham Festival?

With a long list of horses paraded in front of us, enthusiastically picking a few to follow was no easy task, but as is my wont, I like to read between the lines, and give you a little something extra that the other hacks may have missed, so do read on……

BOBS WORTH

Hopefully, stable companion Mossley will head for the Neptune Investment Novice Hurdle in which case he has a very good.

He may have finished runner up on his debut in a Kempton bumper but has not looked back since with four clear-cut wins where he has always looked to have plenty left in the tank.  He is in good order at home, and jockey Barry Geraghty rates his chances, which is more than good enough for me!

MOSSLEY

More of a dark horse than most from the stable (they have had so many winners this season that very few go unbacked), this five year old gelding had done nothing wrong in winning his bumper at Worcester and following up over hurdles at Huntingdon and Cheltenham

That was before the wheels fell of at Warwick, where he hated the heavy going. Decent ground seems more likely at Cheltenham which will suit him perfectly and as he is better suited by three miles than any less, the Albert Bartlett is his most realistic target. It would seem the bookmakers think differently (and they could be right) as they have priced him up at 25/1 which for a horse with the sort of engine he clearly has does seem generous, and is worth serious consideration.

A MEDIA LUZ

I notice the trainer kept coming back to this four year old filly, and he seems pretty certain she is as lot better than her bare form implies. One win from four starts have hardly set the racing world alight though she did look in the process of winning at Kempton when falling two out.

Her handler does not consider her likely to be well handicapped in the Fred Winter so she will most likely head to the Triumph Hurdle instead where he odds of 12/1 are not exactly generous on what she has achieved and seem more down to the success of her trainer?

SPRINTER SACRE

There was just no getting away from how much his handler likes this five year old who is considered to have the brightest of futures, though whether we have to wait for him to go over fences to see the real deal is a moot point.  Over hurdles he has been exemplary once dropped back to two miles, and if he goes for the Supreme Novices he has an each way chance

Though with Cue Card , Al Ferof and stablemate Spirit Son in opposition, winning could be beyond him I am sorry to say, though next year I fully expect him to win the Arkle in a hack canter.

[Matt says, that is one of the boldest statements I’ve seen in.. well, ever... I considered editing it out but thought I’d leave it in so you can make your own minds up!]

CAROLE’S LEGACY

No one but an idiot (or journalist?) could expect to find the winner of the Stewart Family Spinal Reseach Handicap Chase, but the Henderson camp do feel that this mare is well in over fences in comparison to if she reverts to hurdles.

Equally adept over both, this will almost certainly be her last season before retirement to the breeding paddocks where I wish her well,  though if she could sign off with victory here all the better.

A 25/1 shot for the race, her astute hander thinks she has a decent chance which is good enough for me and she is another that should not be ignored for any silly bets!

FINIAN’S RAINBOW

Well the Arkle Chase looks like it is turning in to the race of the meeting according to my trainer interviews with all the big yards feeling they have the leading contender.

Nicky Henderson is no exception and he was pretty enthusiastic about the chances of this eight year old who was over enthusiastic when last seen at Warwick, but that was all part of his learning process.

A pretty decent hurdler he is already even better over the larger obstacles and connections have now proved he can make the running if needed or sit in behind,  so tactically he is pretty flexible which has to be a bonus. He is certainly built like a chaser unlike some of his market rivals and if he can get round without too many errors the 9/2 could look good in running.

AEGEAN DAWN

Interestingly, this unbeaten gelding was virtually glossed over at first by the trainer, but a quick chat with the stable staff gave him as their idea of the banker! Digging for more info, it seems they feel he is good enough that he may well win the Coral Cup (10/1) and then run again in the County Hurdle (14/1), which although unlikely, does show they think he can win the first with ease so get on while you can.

LONG RUN

Although Nicky did describe this six year old as his best chance yet of winning a Gold Cup, I have to be honest and say that he did not seem as enthusiastic as you may have read elsewhere.

He is a very promising horse as seen when he ran away with the King George at Kempton and if he can repeat that form he must have an outstanding chance but I do feel he is prone to the odd jumping error and whether he can get away with that against the big guns in the biggest race of the season we will have to wait and see.

Conclusions

So, as we can all see, Henderson certainly has a strong hand to go to war at Cheltenham with, and I hope my little insights point you in the direction of a winner or two, but we will all see come the end of the battle with the bookmakers in mid March!

Nigel Twiston-Davies has his team spot on for the Cheltenham Festival 2011

Nigel Twiston-Davies has his team spot on for the Cheltenham Festival 2011

NIGEL TWISTON-DAVIES

First things first, and I had never been to the Twiston-Davies yard before, so must have looked like a wide eyed novice when all us journo’s piled on to a big green double decker bus when we first arrived for a coffee and a Danish.

Surreal as that was, the fact that we ten drove off to the gallops with the trainer himself driving the bus made me wonder what I had been drinking, but then eccentricity has always been the British way and long may that continue.

Arriving at the gallops about two minutes later (we could have walked, but then where is the fun in that?), the Gold Cup winning trainer was miked up which at least made it possible for us hacks to hear every word that was said without clambering over each other to do so!

As a string of horses walked past us led, of course, by Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander, their trainer read out a list of names a little too quickly for my liking but as they returned back up the hill at speed in the same order not once but three times, even I managed to catch up.

Working out who looked well and who didn’t in the bitter cold and at less than half speed was beyond us all so we waited and listened to the wise words of a trainer I still feel is underestimated by the majority of the racing press and punters alike, which spells the chance of a spot of value to me?

Imperial Commander

Might as well start with the top of the tree and there is no hiding his trainer’s enthusiasm for his chances of a repeat in the Gold Cup.  Still relatively young at the age of ten (well, in comparison to eleven year olds Denman and Kauto Star), he has had a gentle season with this his main if not only target for 2011.

One run saw him win well enough at Haydock, and the fact that he failed to make the King George line could yet be a blessing in disguise as he comes here fresh and well after some impressive racecourse gallops.

His trainer feels the younger generation have it all to prove (and let’s face it. Long Run is currently rated a massive thirteen pounds his inferior), and is more worried about the old guard (back to Kauto Star and Denman then), if anything can take his crown.

My only concern is his lack of race fitness for the most important chase of the year, but if he arrives 100%, then he must have every chance and has done precious little wrong that I can see.

Baby Run

I am starting with the “top three” horses that as you will see from the photo, are hardly unknown dark horses.  Hardly a newcomer at the age of eleven, Baby Run has looked better than ever this season with two good wins at Wetherby and Haydock, with one on good to soft ground and one on heavy, so all ground seems to come alike to this son of Baby Turk.

He will be ridden in the Foxhunters by Will Twiston-Davies who looks like a real talent like brother, Sam, but more importantly he gets the day-to-day contact with his mount unlike a lot of the other riders.

Khyber Kim

A bit of a forgotten horse here, current quoted at 20/1 for the Champion Hurdle and certainly an each way option.  His trainer was clearly delighted with his wellbeing ahead of the big race and had a beaming smile when discussing his chances.

He was second in the race last year at odds of 7/1 (20/1 this year may seem like value), and is another deliberately lightly raced to make sure he is as his peak when it matters. Two runs this season have seen victory at Aintree over two and a half miles before a slightly below par effort when hitting the last at Kempton when already beaten.

Whether he can turn round the form with Binocular is a big ask but that rival can run a bit in and out and back on a track that will bring his stamina in to play up the hill he has a fair chance and may be overpriced for the each way thieves.

Oscar Magic

There is no disguising the competitiveness of the Champion Bumper this year as always but neither can I hide the regard Nigel has for this four-year-old son of (you guessed it), Oscar.

His problem could be his inexperience as he has only had the one run when winning at Kempton without really impressing, but it would appear he is a lot better than that at home and has improved a bundle for that run.

On the form book, he could win or finish last (it is that sort of race), but all I can tell you is his trainer likes him a lot, which may tell more than the form book at the end of the day?

Sybarite

If there is a really dark horse worth considering, then this five year old could be the one. Away from the stable stars we all expected to see, this is the one horse Nigel likes above all others, and although a hurdler at present, he sees him as a future Gold Cup contender.

Where that leaves his chances in the Albert Bartlett is a whole new question, but he must have a serious engine to be talked of in such terms, in which case the 20/1 is sorely tempting even if it is to very small stakes.

Kayf Aramis

Last, but by no means least, Kayf Aramis got more than a passing mention even though a look through the formbook writes him off as far as I am concerned.

He has not won a race of any kind since May 2009 which would worry any punter, but he did win the Pertemps Handicap Final at the Festival the same year and finished fifth last year as well.

Slowly slipping down the handicap, he races off a mark of 142 this year, seven pounds less than last season which in theory could put him in the first four, but more importantly he is only just coming back to his best at home and I may have even talked myself in to have a bet!

Braga 1 - 0 Liverpool (The reds draw a blank in portugal)

Reds draw a blank in Portugal and need an Anfield win to make the quarters

After the joy of beating old rivals Manchester United last weekend, Liverpool came back down to earth with a bump when going down 1-0 at Braga.

An 18th minute penalty by the home side's attacker - the delightfully named Alan - was all that separated the sides.

Liverpool failed to impress upfront, where Andy Carroll made a second-half appearance, and the three goals scored past Edwin van der Sar seem a far-off memory.

Betfair layers still fancy their of making it past their Portuguese opponents - the Reds trade at odds-on to make the quarter-finals.

Man Wins £1.4 Million On A £2 Accumulator

Hi guys just though i would share this article with you all, posted yesterday by Betastic.co.uk

proof you canmake money gambling, however i dont think everyone will be as lucky as our punter Steve.

A gambler could not believe his luck after scooping £1.45million by picking all 6 winning horses on a Tote Jackpot betting accumulator.

Steve Whitely, a 60-year-old Heating Engineer from Devon was made one of his twice annual visits to Exeter race course and this time it really paid off.

The Tote Jackpot is prize pool created from bets made by punters. It is then shared between winners who make the correct picks during the day. However, because Mr Whitely had chosen relative outsiders on his card, he ended up having the whole prize pool to himself.

Mr Whiteley, told reporters: ‘When my mate said to me after the fourth race that there were only seven people in the whole country left in the jackpot, I couldn’t believe it.

‘Then at the last he said there is only one left and it’s this ticket, I didn’t look. I was shaking.’

He said: ‘It’s difficult to say how I came up with my selections. At first, I had two in each race and that was going to cost £32, so I scrapped that.

'I'd never had a go at the Jackpot but one of my mates said it might be a million quid so I said, “All right, I’ll have a go”.

The lucky punter intends to continue his frugal lifestyle despite the big win. However he intends to treat his wife Jill, who turns 60 today.
